I'm ok ::deep breath::

Eldest is heading out to a pool party today. Her social life is rapidly expanding.. thank goodness! I hope the weather holds out for the party. Here in NJ, we have had the most incredible amount of rain over the past month. I have never seen such gloomy weather. The pool is maybe 70 degrees. The girls have been dying to go swimming. Husband and I finally stabilized the pool - again - and cleaned it last night. Youngest is having a friend over this afternoon and I think they are going to brave the pool. Brrrr! Too cold for my old bones!

I was so excited that school had ended. I had envisioned so much quality time with the girls.. yeah, I know you're giggling but, for God's sake, they are 9 and 12 (very soon to be 13). You'd think (hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!) that they would have enough SENSE to just DO what they need to do and we can all move forward.

Guess not!! Joke's on Mom.

The forecast for the next 10 days is rain... UGH! ENOUGH already!!!

• School is out! Hooray!
• Just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary with the Husband!
• Just celebrated my 39th birthday ::cry::
• The husband had his 46th birthday yesterday. He is also not happy.
• Have stayed on Weight Watchers with a friend for about five weeks.. am down 9.2lbs! Go me!
• Did I mention that school is out? LOL.
• Got reaquainted with the local library.. I think I have checked out around 10 books and requested another 10. Youngest is on a reading kick as well - completely hooked on The Magic Treehouse series.
• Sleeping past 6am is AWESOME.

We voted in the NJ primaries yesterday.. I voted for Lonegan. Too bad he didn't make it. Chris Christie won and he will get my support.

Life in bulletpoints:

• About 25 days left of school. YAY!
• Pricing out sumemr camp... ouch. Thank goodness Girl Scout Camp is still somewhat reasonable
• FINALLY getting an MRI on my left knee tomorrow. The ortho doc was po'ed that I wasn't continuing physical therapy. Too bad.
• Jon and Kate - who freakin' CARES?? Ugh.. go away already
• Our local elections were yesterday.. and not with the outcome I was hoping for. I hope our town doesn't explode..
• It's NOT raining! Hooray!
• I want a new phone.. was thinking about the Voyager - any opinions?
• Season finale of House! OMG!
• Husband and I are totally hooked on Castle and Deadliest Catch

My niece will be having her First Communion an a few weeks. I was looking for a nice piece of jewelry for her. I googled "p*earl n*ecklace". Oh My God. What the hell was I thinking?

School budget passed.

I have great hopes that things will get better in my town.... I'm watching.. closely..

How about my life in bullet points?

• The.girls.are.making.me.crazy. Seriously.
• Barely any substitute jobs available. That sucks. No job = no money
• Blogging? I suck at keeping up. Wish I could connect it to Facebook but am trying to keep blog and FB separated. So far, so good.
• Am going to PT for my knee. It feels *so* much better.. no knee surgery is in my future. Hooray!
• Allergy Grocer aka Miss Robens is now out of business. I am so very sad. We've shopped with them for years. I don't know where I can purchase some of the specialized items I could ONLY get from them...
• Husband is working like a dog. OT is nice but he is exhausted.
• I need Niecy Nash and her Clean House crew to help me clean organize my house. It's not awful but I really need to get more organized
• My digital camera is messed up and I need a new one. ::sigh:: It's not in the budget for now. So bummed.
• My sis in law is pregnant again! Baby #2 is due in August!!
• Lots of other personal stuff I am not at liberty to discuss on my blog. Just know that a few good thoughts tossed this way will be mucho appreciated
