Like buttah

My pool is 88 degrees. 88

Man, it's nice to swim in a warm pool. The kids and I horsed around for over an hour. When I realized it was 630, we all piled out so I could make dinner. Husband is chain-sawing all the branches. He's a manly man ::rowr::

I'm gonna see if he will jump in the pool later.

I want this!

(found at Walmart)
What fun! The down side is that it looks like someone's kid or a pretty drunk adult could really mess themselves up on it.

Pool

The pool is now closed.

::sigh::

The summer really seems to be over now.

Pool

Well - the pool is murky. We need to put in more non chlorine shock to finish eliminating all traces of the Baquacil products. Hopefully, this new batch of shock will finish it off. This is getting expensive.

Opening the pool

P and I have been spending the day opening the pool. Ugh. I hate this part. He has been really good about making sure that water doesn't build up on the cover. We have had so much rain lately that there was probably 6 inches of water in it. Of course, it was full of smelly leaves and acorns. He started the siphon and we raked off as much crap as possible. PU. The stuff we pulled off smelled like ass. Dirty ass. By the time we pulled off the cover, I was gagging from the stench. All the **** that was left on the cover got dumped on my grass ::sigh:: We raked that crap up and then saturated that area with fresh water from the hose. I hope we didn't kill the grass!
I dragged the cover off to the side of the yard and hosed it off. The kids kepy wandering by so I started blasting them with the hose. They would run away, screaming but they kept coming on back! They got soaked. LOL! It was fun. When I was done with the cover, I had to get dry clothes for the kids. I made 'em strip down on the deck and cleaned 'em up as much as possible. The ran off, in clean dry clothes, with bits of grass and dirt stuck to them. Heh. Dopey kids.
We are BBQ'ing again tonight. I have too many leftovers. P is thrilled. He loves bugers and hot dogs anyway. Woohoo! Easy cooking tonight. His gift from the girls is 8 new t-shirts (all different colors) and a new tape measure. He hasn't opened them yet.
Well - gotta go!
