Three day baby blanket

Crocheting
I have a few projects to finish up this week. I am having a yard sale on Saturday and I want to sell a couple ponchos and some fun fur flip flops pattern ala Lion Brand Yarn). Extra cash is always helpful! I have been working on a red poncho and now O doesn't want a red one. Grrrr! She saw some Red Heart yarn in Walmart that she liked (variegated purple) and M found variegated blue yarn. ::sigh:: They had better like these damn ponchos or I'll have to smack 'em!
Tonight it's taco night in the KateSpot house. What are you making for dinner?

Fast and Easy
updated to add I used LionBrand Homespun yarn - Prarie
I made this blanket in 3 nights. I am going to give it to a friend of mine for her birthday on Saturday. I used yarn that my MIL gave to me a few months ago. I didn't like the yarn when I first tried to use it as it kept getting caught on the smaller hooks. Once I figured out to make it a blanket, used three strands and used a Q hook, I had NO problems at all.
I have to say that I really like this blanket a lot.

Fun
I just crocheted fun fur around the edges of my flip flops. I like them even more! I got the idea from Marlo. Check out her site as she has some very cute patterns on it.

New project
I think I found my new project to crochet... a shawl. Nice and simple. I think I will make it for my Mom. I have found a few patterns that I liked. Now, I just have to decide <i>which</i> one to choose!

Finally completed!
I finally finished the baby blanket I was working on for my assistant troop leader who had her baby (a boy!) 3 weeks ago.
And, after all that damn work, I don't like it. Not at all. I hate the color mint :::shudder::: and I dorked up the edging so badly that I ended up single crocheting around the blanket, twice.
Oh well.. I hope she likes it.

Granny Square Blanket
Ok - here it is!
It still needs to be stitched together. In the last pop-up, you might be able to see where I started to whipstitch the squares. Right now, it is seven squares long and four squares wide. It looks ok but I think I am going to make it five wide and eight long. I don't think I will be making anymore granny squares for a while. It's a pain in the ass to stitch them all together! I didn't think about all that! Then, after they are all stitched, I want to do at least two or three rows for edging. Oy. Plus, I have another project in the works as well!
I need more hours in the day!!!!!
