Again?
If I have any long time readers here, they might remember when this happened right before a Girl Scout trip.
Well- I did it again. I was rushing around, getting ready for a Girl Scout event. I had to get something from the local community center. I had Youngest with me at the time. I pulled up at the community center, parked my car, and ran up towards the community center. Except, I tripped while attempting to run.. and I fell. I landed completely on my left knee... then my right knee. I skinned them both pretty good AND they hurt like holy hell. My left wrist also took a beating when I tried to catch myself. Poor Youngest watched me hit the ground.. I think I scared the crap out of her.
Needless to say, I am out of commission for a while. I am now the proud owner of a leg brace. I have to follow up with an ortho doc to make sure I haven't damaged any ligaments. ::please God no:: Thankfully, Husband has been home, taking great care of me and the girls. He's exhausted!! Poor guy.

I remember the last time. I hope things get back to normal soon. These Girl Scout functions are tough on you.

Oh for goodness sake, woman. I believe that Girl Scouts are out to get the both of us. But, you mostly. Feel better, soon!
