Not only did I have a crappy start to my day but now the evening is all effed up too.

Oh - It's going to be a GREAT week
Now - just repeat the title of this post in the most snarky, most snide David Spade-esque voice you can imagine..
Yeah, my day is going *just* that well.
Shrieked at Eldest this morning. Another fine parenting moment in my life. I did manage to get Youngest on the bus without popping a blood vessel. Walked back into the house, poured a cup of coffee, grabbed my PDA. and walked back to my bedroom. I opened my curtains while holding those items and the sheer panels just FELL on me.
Obviously, I was completely startled and jumped back, spilling coffee all over myself, the floor, the bureau, and, unbeknownst to me at the time, my PDA. I changed my clothes quickly and cleaned the floor and the bureau and then hung the sheers back up on the bracket. I grabbed the dirty clothes and tossed them into the washer. May as well get a jump on the laundry. Hey - two birds with one stone right?
I sat down at the computer and grabbed my PDA. It felt wet. Oh no.. no no.. Please, not my organizer. My whole LIFE is in that organizer. My whole family's itinerary is in there. Memos, addresses, information, Girl Scout stuff. I pressed the power button. Nothing. At this point, I sound like Ralphie from A Christmas Story when he crushed his glasses after shooting his Red Rider BB Gun. No no!
The damn thing is DOA. In a panic, I called Husband. He's quite handy and is known to most of my friends as MacGyver. He calmed me down but I am still just so upset. I know, it could be worse. Lots worse.
I'm just so pissed at myself for doing something so damn stupid - and right before Christmas too. ::sigh::

Girls Night Out!
It's Bunco night tonight. Thank goodness! I am always happiest when we have Buncos. It's a great excuse to goof off with other stressed out moms and drink and eat and drink and drink... well.. you get the idea. I need to behave tonight since I am driving. Luckily, the house is close to mine so if I get too tanked I can stagger my tipsy ass down the road without getting run over... I hope!

Priceless
We bought a copy of a photo taken while we were riding Expedition Everest while in Epcot Animal Kingdom. This is an awesome coaster and we rode it a total of four times, three of them in a row. We all loved riding this ride, especially Eldest. Check out the photo below and take a good long look at her face...

Water water everywhere...
Oh my God - so much water!
The toilet in the master bath overflowed earlier this evening. Unfortunately, I was not aware that the water kept running.. and running.. and running. I only realized it when the water started flowing out of my bathroom into my bedroom! Thank goodness for laminate flooring! No carpets for the allergy family. We used up SO many towels mopping up all the water. The washer is currently completing the second of possibly four loads of towels that need to be done this evening. At least I am half-way done with this chore.

Right back into the routine
Well - welcome home to me! The schedule has picked up and we are having a Girl Scout weekend - events, product booth sale, and Bingo with the senior citizens tomorrow. Good times!
Apparently there is a tornado warning in effect. Hope my house doesn't blow away... I was planning on attending the New Jersey Moms Blog Launch Party taking place in Princeton tonight.. but, as you can see by the time stamp, it just ain't happening for me. Talk about disappointed. I hope everyone has a great time. I'll be home, sulking, in a corner while the kids watch Kung Fu Panda.

Home.. where my thoughts escape me...
Well - today is the big day. We're coming home.. back to New Jersey where it's 48 degrees. Do you know it's 76 degrees in Melbourne right now? ::sigh:: These past 14 days have passed by so quickly. At least Paul and I get one more day of vacation. The girls are going back to school tomorrow - yay! This way, Paul and I can pick up Grumpy.. I mean poor old Darla from the kennel. She should be LOADS of fun.
Wish me luck on the plane ride home. I still hate flying ::shuddering:: I hope we don't crash and die. Yeah, I know, call me a drama queen but I think about that every time I get on a plane. I'm off to finish packing. Ciao!

And now.. the end is near...
Well, our family fun filled vacation is quickly drawing to a close. We are visiting the Magic Kingdom one last time. We are having lunch at the Plaza Restaurant. Keep an eye out on the New Jersey Moms Blog for a post about our fabulous dining experience. All of you who read here know about my family's food allergies. Chef Ken was da BOMB!

I once was lost.. but now I'm found...

I know.. I know.. it's been way too long. I HAVE missed you all. You should see my Google Reader.. I have over 1000+ reads waiting to be read. OY already! I think the election sent it over the edge. Please don't be offended if I just mark you as read and just move forward. I only have 7 more days left to our vacation!!
Today, we visited a pet store here in Melbourne called Incredible Pets. They weren't kidding. There were some amazing animals in the store, including a 20ft python, many other snakes, a cotton top tamarin, a caiman lizard, bearded dragons.. too many to mention. Check out some of the animals at their online photo album. Talk about incredible..
Yesterday, we visited the Magic Kingdom. Wow - just wow. The girls were totally exhausted.. even still today. I don't know how any of you people with little kids do Disney. You MUST be on crack. Honestly, I am SO glad we waited until the girls were older. Disney + stroller sized children = crying. Lots and Lots of crying. Screaming too. And that's just the parents....
Tomorrow, we visit Animal Kingdom. Lord help us. Thankfully, this park closes at 5pm. I didn't really want to do this park but the girls insisted on going to this one over Hollywood Studios. We were originally scheduled to go to Epcot this past Monday (the 3rd) but my FIL is having some medical issues so we rescheduled Epcot for this coming Monday (the 10th).
I need to write an entry completely dedicated to how fabulous the chefs have been at the Magic Kingdom. Seriously - it's been amazing so far ::knocking wood for luck::
Ok - I'm off to chase my girls into the shower and then into bed. It's going to be another long day tomorrow. Ciao!
