I can't believe it

Spirit_Header.gif

The family and I will be flying to Florida in October. gulp. I haven't flown in years... since I was pregnant with Eldest (and didn't know it). The flight down to Florida was horrible but, thankfully, the return flight was unremarkable.

I tried to come up with the best way to save money but, given the price of gas and the 2,000+ miles I was going to put on my seven year old car... well.. let's just say it was more cost effective to fly.

Anyone have any Xanax?

Hello... ello... llo....

One last week of working at Girl Scout camp - thank goodness.

I've been busy planning our Disney vacay. We are hoping to go to a launch at Kennedy Space Center on Monday 11/10. It's a night launch and I can't wait to see it. I hope it's not cancelled or delayed!

Husband and I realized we will be out of town on Election Day!! There's no way we aren't voting so I have to arrange for absentee ballots. We also need to make arrangements to have someone feed my poor old cat two times a day. Time to cash in some favors from our naighbors. We've taken care of their cats several times. I'm sure we won't have any problems with that.

We also did some yard work today, planting three little boxwoods amd mulching one of our garden beds. It definitely looks a million times better. I think I am going to find some more perennials to add to our garden. I need *very* simple and easy to maintain plants. In tomato land news, I picked about three dozen grape tomatoes. For my dinner tonight, I tossed them in with some fresh spinach and Italian dressing. Yum!

::yawn:: Off to bed!
