Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Can you believe the size of these tomato plants??
They have completely taken over my poor little garden. It looks like the cucumbers will survive. The tomatoes have eclipsed the wax beans and pepper plants - you can see them in the front of the garden. There are a TON of yellow flowers and little green tomatoes. Oh my, I think I will be overrun with tomatoes!
Anyone want some?

There's almost no such thing as too many tomatoes. You can cook them down and freeze or can them, or, if you're extra nice, give them to friend and family

I used the last package of tomatoes from the freezer from last year in tonight's dinner preparation.

Wow, your tomatoes and our tomatoes must be cousins. Our plants aren't quite that big, but they've survived more than a year and are in their second season of giving us little red yummies (and about 10 pounds of green tomatoes last fall!)

My garden is doing great as well! I have now picked 4 globe zucchinis that are bigger than a melon! The regular zucchinis are huge as well. I just picked my first 5 tomatoes today, yellow pears. Some of my other ones are starting to yellow, so with any luck, I will have red ones next week. Should be a good produce year!!
I par boil and skin a lot of tomatoes and freeze them for cooking throughout the year. That works well also!

I now have the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes theme song in my head. Thank you for that.
