TGIM
Thank goodness it's Monday!
Boy, I never thought I would type out that sentence. We had a great four day break and it was definitely time for the girls to get back to school. My six year old niece slept over on Saturday night. She and Youngest had a *great* time. They giggled for about an hour after I sent them into bed, at 10pm. Then, on Sunday, they were riding bikes and scooters since the weather was just sunny and beautiful, around 50 degrees. Of course, they had to jump on the trampoline too. Eldest was hanging around, playing with them on occasion and also riding her bike.
Oh! Don't know if I mentioned earlier but Youngest finally learned how to ride a two wheeler. No more training wheels - HOORAY! Of course, the Husband was exhausted but he did such a great job. He wouldn't let her quit no matter how much she carried on and cried. And boy, did she carry on and cry! Once she did it, she was quite pleased with herself, the little booger.
I've managed to get the BEST Christmas gift for the girls but I will not blog about it - yet. I've got to get it in my clutches before I can divulge the full details. Wow, sounds quite mysterious, doesn't it?
Well, off to prep for a Brownie meeting today. I've got dinner defrosting... and it's NOT turkey. Thank goodness.
