You Give Me Fever
Once again Youngesthas been running some crazy high fevers. She's run between 99 - 102.5 and I'm not quite sure what's wrong. She says her throat hurts but if she's got a post-nasal drip that can cause the sore throat. Her fevers, if she is not medicated, will shoot up to 103-104 and we have to give her a cool bath to bring down the fever. She still occasionally is complaining about neck and head pain. So, I’ve got another appointment with the pediatrician this morning and I think I may push her to give me more than “it’s just a virus” speech. I think I want some other testing done, just in case…. Of what, I don’t even want to think about it. Luckily, we have good health coverage and I am going to take full advantage of that.
Husband’s campaign is going well. He’s the quiet runner but a lot of people are pleased with what he says – because it makes sense! Of course, I can’t get into all of it but our school district is trying to do something that we believe is wrong. I hope that people listen and actually VOTE sensibly. I did manage to clear up the BIG issue with his signs and I am hoping to pick them up today. They look awesome and people need to see them!
I was lucky enough to get a phone call from this lovely lady. We had an absolutely hysterical chat and once again discovered that we agree on so many levels of parenting issues. She invited me…and even the rest of my family… down to Texas. I hope we can get down there soon. I’d love to meet her and her charming husband Dash as well as their two lovely daughters. I just know that Wee One and Youngestwould hit it off and become thick as thieves!
Off to shower – have a great day.

I think you are awesome!
Good luck to Paul. Keep him away from the babies (he could catch a cold) and keep him kissin' those mommas, they can vote!!

Hope Olivia is feeling better soon--and good luck to Paul! As a former teacher, I know how important those school board members are.
