Ever have one of those days?
The girls were acting up quite a bit on Saturday. It was constant bickering, horrible. Horrible. They were fighting about those stooopid Littlest Petshop critters. One had the other's monkey, the other one had a brush and comb set. They just kept harping on and on and on until Husband had a fine parenting moment when he finally snapped and bellowed "Bring me the monkey!" I just dissovled into a fit of giggles until tears filled my eyes.
Maybe you just had to be there.

I would have loved to witness that fine parenting moment. Paul demanding a monkey while Kate laughs. Hysterical!
Are you guys getting rain down there today? We've had sleet since last night so all I've been hearing is ping, ping, ping.

Great moments in parenting indeed. I often have to bite my lip to stop from laughing during those moments where you simply don't know what else to do.
Oddly enough, I wouldn't have it any other way. Sibling bickering seems to be their way of figuring out how to conduct themselves in the broader world. Or at least that's what I tell myself when the noise levels get so bad that my head feels as if it's ready to explode.
Gotta love 'em!
