Da Bowser Bill?

There's a bill pending in the NJ Senate that

"Prohibits certain deceptive advertising or concert performance practices with respect to live musical performances or productions"

Example, you go to the Garden State Arts Center PNC Bank Center to see an oldies band from the sixties only to realize that there are NO original members from the band actually on stage.

Wow - thank goodness NJ is looking out for me.

Interesting. But ya know, I'd be pissed if I paid to see say Led Zeppelin and when I got there, it was a led zep tribute band.
Obviously, people of NJ have been duped and are quite pissed.

How do we go about recalling every politician in Trenton?

Why not just enjoy the music?

Ya know, the sad part is that I thought this "rule" was already in place years ago.

Can't quite figure out the timing of this though. Is this really a big problem right now? Do they not have anything better in Trenton to work on?

If they shut down the State again over the budget while wasting time on stuff like this, I will be quite annoyed...again.

Oh man, that actually happened to me...it sucked. They billed it as Creedence Clearwater Revival, but John Fogerty was nowhere to be found. Uh...ok?...

At least it was a free concert. I'd hate to get to a Broadway show only to find some unknown understudy filling in for Julie Andrews, who had a scratchy throat.
