Well..
We certainly had one helluva weekend. Thank you so very much for all the kind words of support. Luckily, we are ok. We didn't lose too much at all. There are several families in my town who have over $50,000 worth of damage. $50,000. That's just horrible. Here I am complaining about petty crap and these people have lost so much. I'm going to try to see what I can do for some of them. I think the two Girl Scout troops will be able to help out in some ways. We can't fundraise money but I am sure we can collect supplies and food for them... I don't know if that's enough...

Wow. Is it just me or are the rain storms getting worse the past few years? I feel like the fall has been full of monsoons! Is this the due to the global warming trend they have been warning us about for years?
