David Blaine
Ok - is anyone else hooked on watching David Blaine's special "Drowned Alive"? It's such a horrifying way to die and, oy, it's totally freaking me out. Now, I know he's not really going to drown on national television.. it's just the thought of it that totally squicks me out.

Well, 7:08 is a pretty fantastic time anyway. He looked messed up when they pulled him out of the tank. How about when they took his gloves off? Ewwwwwwwwwwwww! Other than that, he looked pretty ripped! ROWR! He's quite sexy in the way that he could possibly kill you or charm the pants off you instead.

I was kind of peeved how stu scott said five million times "this is not what David Blaine wanted" blah blah but i don't think he was really going for the world record. He was going for around 8 minutes. After living in a tank for a week it takes too much out of your body to break a record where the other guy starts fresh and doesn't have to move at all. Of course Blaine had to do it that way though, or it wouldn't have been enough for a show. Fully rested though, he could probably come close to or break the record, if he wanted to.

Also, to hold your breath until you black out - that's pretty damn impressive. He now knows exactly what it is like to drown alive.

I must admit, I'm not exactly a David Blaine fan. I didn't watch, though I might have if I thought there were real risk involved. I didn't. Also, why were only his hands messed up? If its water that did it...shouldn't most of the body be pretty funky by now?

I watched. And all I could think of was "Doesn't brain damage set in after 5 minutes of oxygen deprivation?" He's a good looking bad boy though ;)

Knowing that he intentionally hooked his penis up to a catheter for a week and got himself, er, cleaned out so there was no poo means I can never find him even remotely attractive ever again.
