Preparation

Eldest and I are going on a bus trip to NYC tomorrow. We are going to visit the American Girl store, have lunch there AND see a show in the American Girl theater.

Oh yes - it's VERY La-Dee-Dah.

The trip was organized by the GS service unit manager and she busted her ass putting this trip together. When I spoke with her this afternoon, she was SO burned out from all the planning just for this trip. This woman not only runs her GS troop, she's in charge of 55 additional troops, teaches CCD, AND manages to holds a job with the school. She's my hero.

Anyway, I've been shopping, doing laundry, and getting things set for Husband and Olivia. I think they might be having a nice Dad/Daughter kind of day. Earlier this morning, Husband had an endoscopy procedure done and it looks like his ulcer is healing. Hooray! I think he's still got to be careful but ::knocking wood:: I hope he's going to be ok.

I've seriously neglected my blog buddies. Sorry guys! I'll be visiting soon! Now, it's off to do more laundry. G'night!

Ooohhhh! Sounds like a fun day tomorrow! Glad to hear that Paul is doing better.

How in the world does that woman organize so much!? Some people amaze me.

I've been the the American Girl store, and it's awesome. We went on a weekend and it was incredibly crowded. I hope you get there on a less busy day.

Have fun.

Cas

Good news about the healing ulcer.
