Good.. no GREAT Friday
Well, the girls have officially started their Easter SPRING break yesterday. They both had parties in their classrooms but I couldn't attend Eldest's since it was held the same time as Youngest's party AND in a different school. So, I dropped off pretzels and cheese doodles for Eldest's class before heading over to Youngest's school.
As class mom, I planned a very simple party. The kids has an egg hunt, three games and a craft. The games were: Pass the Bunny (like Hot Potato), Pin the Tail on the Bunny, and Pass the Egg using my big kitchen spoons. The craft was a small canvas bag that they could decorate with paint markers. Snacks were popcorn, cookies, grapes, pieces of chocolate (Youngestsafe - thank you Miss Roben - the best allergy grocer around!) and juice.
Some classrooms went totally overboard - massive amounts of cupcakes and cakes, pizzas.. wow... I mean, the kids just ate lunch an hour ago!
Not too much planned for today. Eldest is going to a birthday party and Youngestis going to tag along. This place offers laser tag as well as roller skating and a little play area for younger kids. I don't know who is more excited - Youngestor Eldest!
I might not be blogging for the next few days so please be sure to have a fantastic Easter. Don't eat too much chocolate!

I still cannot believe how much you fit in. You exhaust me! I feel like I am constantly running and fitting in girl scouts too.....impossible! (Well if Kylie was into it, I would figure out a way, but still!) You are the true Super Mom! We are planning a birthday party for Kylie's teacher (we being myself and another Mom who is a good friend of mine). We sent an email to all the parents asking for words that the students used to describe her and have gotten one response in over a week! UGH! The other Mom is going to write a poem with the words and they know that, still no help. It will be awesome, but it would be nice to have more parents like you get more involved!

I can never understand why they sugar up the kids and then send them home!! I don't think they would like having Opie sit through class if I gave him some sugared cereal followed by a nice pop tart or two.
At least you balanced out your party snacks. But you are so resonable and kid friendly anyway, smile.
