I'm going in
Yep - I've got a doctor's appointment at 945am. I can't take this neck pain. It's not at painful as it was on Monday but the pain is still waking me up at night. And that, my friends, that really sucks.
I'm going to drive Youngestto school, run to the bank, visit my doc, get some drugs (I hope!) and do some MUCH needed food shopping. I'm down to the bare bones!
Wish me luck!

Wow! I just had to go to the ER and my family DR because of neck pain and I have no idea how it happened. I took a nap little over a week ago and woke up with a terrible crick in my neck. By day number three I could no longer take the pain. My dr prescribed me valium and physical therapy. He said since it was muscle spasms I probably wouldn't even need the therapy by the time I made the appointment. Yeah well he was wrong. So off I go to set up a therapy appointment! I hope it feels better. Believe me I feel your pain! Take care!

Request pain killers and muscle relaxors. You want both! Have you been icing? Yes I'm a nag. Don't make me call you chiro! LOL! Feel better babe!

I went to the ER because I turned my head while backing the van out of the driveway, and my head stayed that way. So, they gave me a shot of something right in the neck, then looked at my e-rays and said, "so, how did you break your neck?" Well, that was news to me! They then said it was an old injury, healed over, but full of arthritis and I could expect neck pain just about forever. all I can say is, ice, heat packs, and sinking way down in my jacuzzi tub so the jets get the back of the neck, really helps. Best of luck!
