I'm a loser baby
The concert last night was fantastic! I was so excited to see my baby play her trombone. We got there early, picked out our seats and waited. About 15 minutes before the show started, I leaned down to get my camera and, with a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, realized that I did not have it with me. Husband even walked back to the car, just to be sure. Nope. It was at home, all prepped and ready to go, on my couch. Luckily, a friend of mine took some photographs of Eldest while she was playing. I'm so mad at myself for forgetting the damn camera!
Tonight, there is a Lip Syncing event for the Girl Scout Service Unit. It's going to be a lot of fun. My girls (lol- MY girls) will be doing New York, New York. I bought them top hats and they will be doing Rockette-like kicks at the end of the song as well as assorted dance moves. This is going to be a lot of fun and I will make SURE to bring my camera tonight!
Off to clean and complete other assorted household crap. CIAO!

Since I often carry my camera with me wherever I go, I am often asked by other parents to take pictures when they've forgotten their cameras at home. Since it's digital, I'm always happy to do it.
When I was shooting exclusively film, it ticked me off when parents would not only ask me to take a picture of their kid, but would literally demand specific pictures at specific times. Now THAT was annoying!
Not much of an issue anymore. But I'm sure new technologies will continue to bring with them new ways to misbehave.

You cant hide the fact that in this world nothing you do is good enough or right. I'm sick of this hollywood fantasy where evrything works out fine, lets face it people it aint going to happen, we're going to die old, alone, unhappy, and unloved.
