Sideways
Husband and I just finished watching Sideways and I thought it was fantastic. I love Husband Giamatti, who is definitely an underrated actor and Thomas Hayden Church was so freaking funny. I think that Virginia Madsen should have won the nomination for best supporting actress. She was brilliant.
Now - I'm off to bed!

Did you watch it with a bottle(s) of wine? I am pregnant and the first time I saw that I CRAVED some Pinot Noir (and cheese and crackers!!!). Hafta wait until after December to watch it again with my bottles of wine!

I loved Sideways! Saw it back when in the theaters, but would definitely like to take a second look soon. Hopefully at home so I can drink a glass of wine while I watch.

I so heartily agree. Paul Giamatti is, without question, the actor of our time. He lights up every movie that he's in. That he manages to do it based purely on stunning acting ability is a nice counterpoint to the conventional wisdom that says leading men must look like, well, leading men.
He's one of the few actors for whom I would see a movie simply because he's in it.
