Teary-eyed
I'm watching the convoy of trucks, buses, suvs and other vehicles drive over the bridge in New Orleans. It was incredible to see that and knowing that finally these poor people are going to get some help.

The governor, Gov. Kathleen Blanco called the looters "hoodlums" and issued a warning to lawbreakers: Hundreds of National Guard troops hardened on the battlefield in Iraq have landed in New Orleans.
"They have M-16s and they're locked and loaded," she said. "These troops know how to shoot and kill, and they are more than willing to do so, and I expect they will."
It's time to take back the city and get back to helping people.

I'm still having a tough time with this. All of it. I'm tired of the blame game and the people who think they could have managed to correctly predict what happened.
Like you, I'm more interested in getting help to those who need it.

It's time to impeach the retard who was on vacation DAYS after the storm hit.
I've sent 20 pounds of kids clothes to Houston, 3 boxes of diapers, donated my beer, cable, and golf budget for this month and October, and gave a pint of blood.
Bush is an idiot. Get rid of the mongel, put him down, bury him in a hole somewhere beyond the cess-pool and forget about his loser-ass. Because history will remember him as the jackass who shit on this country and turned us into a joke.
