I can't wait for...

THIS!!

What can I say? I love the Harry Potter series. I am going to barricade myself in the bedroom for the weekend just so I can rip into this book. I decided I am not going to the store to buy one and I will have my very own copy delivered via FedEx from Amazon.

I just finished reading "Eleven on Top" by Janet Evanovitch. WHile i enjoyed and giggled my way through it, I didn't like it as much as I liked "Ten Big Ones". Still, it was a very enjoyable read and I recommend it to anyone looking for a light and funny book.

I still love #9 the best. I am trying to finish #11 so I can be ready for Harry Potter this weekend. Yay!

I've ordered two copies - me and my daughter always fight over who'll read it first.

My two oldest are so eager to get their hands on that book, they're giddy.

I think I'm the only mom in the world who hasn't read Harry with her kids. My sons loved the first three books, but then Rowling took so long to get the next one out and my sons grew up. They feel as if they've outgrown her, and have moved on to Tolkien, Stephen King, and lots and lots of required reading for their junior high and high school English classes.

But maybe they'll rediscover Harry later; they're just way too "cool" to buy into the hype right now.

The whole clan around here is counting down until our copy arrives in the mail.

But, then we have the debate over WHO will read it first!

All 4 of us have read the rest of them and are dying to read this one.

So, the next few weeks will be interesting as the book is read and passed around, and everyone has to keep quiet until the last person reads it!
