It's Thursday, right?
Good Lord - the kids are out of school for one day and I've already screwed up our schedule. Gah - I hate that. Yesterday, I had to wait for the inspector to arrive. Once he finally showed up and left (five minutes TOPS!), I hustled the girls out to Pathmark for a quickie food shopping run. We got back home, they chilled out, Husband came home and I got dinner ready. Of course, we had a wicked thunderstorm show up just as I was going outside to grill the burgers. That inspired the inpromptu song in the previous post. I was grilling with an umbrella during a thunderstorm. Hey - ya gotta eat, right?
While we were sitting at the table and eating, Youngestasked me what day it was. I actually had to think for a minute before I answered "Wednesday". Eldest piped up "Oh Mom, we forgot to bring Youngestto gymnastics!" Whooops! Luckily, Youngestwasn't upset and we all just laughed about it.
Just as we finished dinner and I was pouring out coffee, CLICK, the power goes out. For us, no power also means no water. The well pump is electric. That kinda sucks. But, we had some bottled water and I have a couple gallons out aside for "just in case" situations. Luckily, the power came back on by 8pm.
Does anyone else watch "Family Guy"? I never catch it on Sundays but I watch it every night at 1130pm on Adult Swim. This show is so frigging funny. I am hooked.

I found you on Sandy's site and I wanted to say hello and tell you how impressed I am that you've been doing this since 2001! That's the longest held blog I've seen so far. This will keep me inpsired to just keep on going as long as I can.

Family Guy RULES..oh man that show just keeps me in stitches...I just bought Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD...that damn dog Brian kills me....
