Conked out
After I tucked the girls in bed last night, I wandered into my bedroom and gazed at the gigantic mountain of laundry piled high upon my bed. After some serious contemplating, I decided to take serious action.
I piled all the clothes back into the baskets and stacked them on the floor.
What? Like you wouldn't have done the same?
Husband had turned on the television and was engrossed in watching a show on the History Channel. It was about the Cape Cod Canal. Fascinating stuff indeed. I made the most critical of errors when I decided to lay on the bed and watch it with him.
Next thing I know, he's waking me up at 1am. He wanted to turn down the bedspread. I am only assuming that he must have fallen asleep too. I rarely pass out like that so I must have been pretty darn tired. Now that I'm awake and have had at least nine hours of sleep, I must fold all that laundry PLUS the two other loads in my living room.
Save me.

I dislike folding laundry so much that I do it as soon as it comes out of the dryer. I just can't stand to have it "looking" at me.

I'm right there with you on the laundry Kate! Very rarely does it all get folded and put away when I do it. I end up moving the pile off my bed too. It will get done.

My ex used to get really cross with me for falling asleep on the sofa. Trouble was, the sofa was more comfortable than the cheap bed we had then! Good luck with the laundry!

I am so there with you. I dispise laundry. I can't until the kids are old enough to it themselves. Oh and I don't dare let Genuine in the laundry room, not if I want to wear my clothes again!!

I know... I wash and wash and wash and the clean baskets of laundry keep multiplying. Then I stare at them and don't want to put them away. boohoo.

I have a bench at the end of the bed for the laundry. That way it looks like I might actually get to it at some point.
