Oops
Forgot to post yesteday!
The girls are really feeling the effects of allergy season. POor Eldest - I think it hit her the hardest. She is just miserable. Of course, she's sniffling and hacking but won't spit out all crap in her throat. She just keeps sniffling. ARGH. Makes me crazy. I wish I had a big kid sized snot sucker for her nose.
Anyway, the good news - the architect was here yesterday. Husband gave him the plans he drew up and the architect was pretty impressed. Husband did a great job drawing up the specs by hand. Now, all I am waiting on is Di*tech. They'd better hurry up with my MONEY.
We have an appointment at 10am with Youngest's principal to discuss what we need to do with Youngestand her food allergies. We also have an appointment with the vet today for Darla. She's not doing that well. She is 16 years old and has lost some weight. She's becoming very picky about her food and she's not drinking water from her bowl. She will drink from a little cup of water so we've been doing that. I hope she's ok.

My kiddo was the same way with her allergies...never wanted to blow her nose. She's over that now thankfully. Hope Darla is ok.

A big kid sized sucker... man that sounds so gross. ;) But I know what you mean!
I have allergies REALLY REALLY bad. They did that "prick test" on my back, and every single tree and plant came back +2, the highest level. I left the doctor's office, and was going NUTS trying to scratch my back!!
This year, we got a new insurance company through work, and they decided they aren't going to cover my allergy medecine Clarinex anymore. :..( So I have been "stockpiling" what I have left, and only taking one on the days I have to be outside, like for t-ball games and stuff. I have about two weeks worth left, and that should get me through the end of the season if I watch it. The days I don't take it though, they stink!!

Let me know if you find one of those "big kid" snot suckers. A few people in my orbit come to mind...

Holding down a child of any size to use one of those snot suckers is not fun. The "BIG" kid snot sucker scares me. Sounds like you could be in for a brawl with one of those.
