Homework Woes

Eldest forgot half of her homework today. When I chastised her about it, her eyes immediately welled up with tears. I am so angry with her right now. Of course, it's the classwork that doesn't get completed in class so now it's homework but was conveniently left in her desk. She doesn't like to do this particular work in class, claiming that it is too distracting in her classroom. Because she is a good student, her teacher lets her bring it home. Of course, the 25 other kids in her class managed to get it completed. I am so frustrated with her right now that I just want to grab her shoulders and shake her.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Seems I recall being the shaker and the shakee. I prefer the way things are now, calm. Good luck!

Gosh I know that feeling all to well since Jan. I've been taking care of my rigrats since then all by myself. My chest hearts from yelling at my 4 year old so much. He just won't listen to a word I say. Well thank god his daddy is coming home in the next few days. Good luck with you daughter.

Okay, that sound exactly like my 7 year old. How old is she?

We went on a field trip last week and somehow she couldn't finish writing what she saw in her book........all the other kids did! Very frustrating indeed.
