So sad
O and I were cuddling on my bed after a crazy tickle fight. She was laying on me, all snuggled up, when she started to cry. When I asked her what was wrong, she said "Mommy, I don't want to be dead" and then burst into tears.
My heart is breaking... she's only four years old. She sure as hell shouldn't be thinking about death.

Has she recently learned of someone dying? Did she hear about that family on the news?
I know that I was about her age when one of my grandparents passed away and it freaked me out to think about death.

My daughter would routinely say things like that and then burst into tears. This is what happens when you have a sensitive child....poor you...you have a few years left of bringing them up. Mine is now 20, yet can still burst into tears over something.

G asked me if he'd get to drive a car in heaven if he dies before he's 16. I think some kids are just worriers.
