The witching hour
I have found that the times between 4pm and 6pm are not the best times for all four of us. I know for a fact that <i>someone</i> is going to get yelled at and sent to her room at least twice. It just seems that is the time when we are all on top of each other, homework, dinner preparation... all that fun stuff.
When is YOUR family's witching hour?

mornings before work (6am - 8am) ... I'm not very good in the morning and if anyone disturbs my routine, I get *very* grumpy (not pretty).

Dinner time......I hate cooking and I'm very witchy and sometimes bitchy about it. :-P

A suggestion- maybe at 3:30 you could all have a quick healthy (protein filled) snack... usually when I notice fight patterns like that with my hubby and I, it is because we both haven't taken the time to eat a lil something and our blood sugars are low!

at my mom's (where I'm living while I look for a new place), the "witching hour" starts when all three of us are in the house together and ends when someone gets mad and storms out. :-)

That was always about it....it seemed when I'd walk in the door from work all hell would break loose until at least the dinner dishes were done.

Our's was the same time as your's, we called it "The Arsenic Hour," it's much better now that the kids are older, though we do have a bit in the hour before Troy gets home, now.
