Getting things prepared
P is having his tonsillectomy on Wednesday. The surgical center will call us tomorrow with the exact time and give us any needed instructions for him. He is starting to get a little worried about the procedure which, according to all information that I read, is rather simple. He will be quite uncomfortable when he gets back home. My FIL will be down that morning as well as my Mom. I think, depending on the time, I might need my FIL to baby-sit P in the evening as M has a belt test on Wednesday at 5pm. ::sigh:: I will need him to baby-sit the girls and P on Thursday night too. I have a Girl Scout service unit meeting that I cannot miss. Well - I could miss it but it is an important meeting. This week is gonna suck for me and it will be even worse for P. The poor guy. I just need to keep the kids out of his way - a challenge in a three bedroom ranch house.
Well - off to do more laundry. Bye!

Just keep reminding him of all the sore throats he won't be having after the surgery. He'll be really happy in the long run. Good luck, Paul!

Good Luck Paul, Drink lots of fluids and keep swallowing. That is what the doctors told us when 2 of our 3 had them out. They were only 18 months and 2 years at the time though.
