Doing better

My FIL and I just got back from visiting P. He is much more lucid, still in some pain but not nearly what it was it was a few hours ago. He lost almost a pint of blood last night. He is hoping to be discharged today. He hasn't seen the doctor yet.
I am running on overdrive. The girls are at school. My friend has kindly offered to watch O for a couple hours. Luckily, my friend's daughter is O's bestest buddy. This way, I can also go food shopping and pick up a few things specifically for P. I also need to get him some Ensure. He cannot lose any more weight.
Thank you all so much for the kind emails. I cannot express how much they mean to me. {{{hugs}}}

I still can't believe this happened to the poor guy. I hope he recovers quickly from all this. Bless his heart. They say it's so much harder for adults to recover from having their tonsils out than kids.

I am so sorry to hear about Paul, but glad to hear he is on the mend. I hope all is better soon and YOU get to get some rest as well. *hugs*

Glad to hear that Paul's doing better, Kate.

Tonsils can be tricky little shits, can't they?
