Crochet Project
I made a chemo cap last night. I found the pattern from my friend <a href="http://cumberlandblues.blogspot.com">Chris</a>. <a href="http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/cpatt05.htm">This</a> is the pattern I used. Here are some pics of the finished cap.

I am disappointed about how the cap turned out because it is too short. It just fits the crown of my head and not much more. I think I know what I did wrong. I made all my stitches single crochet (where it called for a stitch) unless specified. I think if I used double crochet instead, it would make the cap slightly larger. There isn't even enough to roll the edge of the hat. I will make another one while at tae kwon do with M. P is home today so he will keep O at home with him. She is busy with her play doh right now. M and I will be leaving in about 30 minutes. Gotta run!

Great job, Woman! The caps I made are small too, more for children. Donate it, it looks great to me! :-) I am going to make 2 more before sending them off.

Do a search for "happy hats" it's another chemo hat project & the pattern makes a full-sized hat for adults or children, depending on the size hook you use & they're easy to make (they pattern is easy to understand too), I made a few for Christmas gifts.
