Back to the ER
P is on his way back to the Emergency Room. He has taken three doses of the antibiotic, Motrin every 6 hours as well as Tylenol for the pain. He is still running a 101 fever. Now his neck hurts, it hurts him to open and close his jaw and his tongue is still swollen. I think he has an abscess. I hope he sees a doctor who speaks freaking English. I hope that the doctor runs a throat culture on him too. Oy - I am worried about him.

Definitely he should go to the ER...he could have menigitis or some such. Better safe than sorry. If he calls you tell him if he doesn't understand or like the doctor he sees to be firm in seeing another who can help him.

If you wind up with another dipshit in the ER, go to a real doctor, even if you have to write a check. I wouldn't fool around with idiots on this one.
