Dammit!!! I have never seen them in concert. I always wanted to see then in concert but was never able to get tickets. Ever. Yeah yeah - booo freakin hoo but I wanna go!!

Do you really want to see these guys aged 20 years? Buy the music, a poster and sing your heart out! :)

Have you seen them lately? Some are still in pretty good condition.
I remember the only time I played truant from school was when I went to Manchester Airport to see Duran Duran. They were coming home from a tour. The airport was absolutely crammed packed full of teenage screaming girlies. The best thing was I never got caught.

Sometimes venues will open up more tickets on the day of show. If you can wait till the very last minute, that might be worth a try... Good luck!

Kate,
C'mon, now! You know you'd rather see The Wiggles instead! :D
While I like their music, I also like The Power Station. Last week, on my way to work, the radio had "Bang A Gong (Get It On)", and I cranked up the volume big time.

Never wanted to see them before, but I would go see them now.

On another note, what do you think of the new BNL postcard song? It reminds me of the $1,000,000 type of song and I just love that one and we get the kids sining it in the car.

I saw Duran Duran last night (11/8) at the Borgata. I'm not posting this to rub it in; it's just that someone commented about not wanting to see them aged 20 years. Well, let me tell ya...they looked and sounded AMAZING! I mean, they are not the Wiggles (saw them last week with my daughter) but they are a close second :o) God, I forgot just how much I love John Taylor! I swear I felt like I was in a time warp last night. I'm a 29-year-old mother who is usually in her PJs long before they even hit the stage. But there I was, jumping around like a prepubescent girl screaming and crying. (I felt really bad for my husband who was there with me, but what can ya do?) All I could do for the first three songs was stare in disbelief. I don't even think I was breathing. They really were FABULOUS!!!!
