A successful evening

Had a great night with M. I picked her up at the bus stop and headed to Michael's to return the yarn, stopped at the bank to get some money and drove back home. I jumped into the shower, got changed, grabbed my scout stuff and we left the house. I told her we would go out to eat and she chose TGI Friday's. The food was ok but she loved it. Must be the atmosphere of the place. I think it's too loud.
After dinner, we walked over to Atlantic Books and we browsed for a little while. I bought two books for the girls. We drove over to where the ice cream/bingo event was being held and we waited for our troop to arrive. Only 8 out of 12 girls (from our troop) made it. We had a lovely time - the girls were very well behaved and they had a lot of fun.
O had a great time at Mom's place. P got there around 430pm. O and Mom had made cookies, read books, played with a ton of toys and had a very fun time. It was decided that they would eat at Mom's house have McD's for dinner. They didn't get home until almost 8pm! M and I didn't get home until 845pm.
Today - we need to go to the bank and stop at Kmart for a birthday gift. Gotta run and feed the lil buggers. I owe some emails out and I <i>promise</i> I will get to them later!!!!

Sounds like you DID get your "second wind" early. Wish my kids were still small.
