Recipe

Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips - divided use

Preheat oven to 350F. Using shortening, grease and then flour a 12 cup Bundt pan.
Place flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Add water, vinegar, vegetable oil and vanilla extract; beat with wire whisk until smooth. Using a wooden spoon, stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, Gently stir in remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Bake an additional 45 minutes, until cake is golden brown and wooden pick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto serving dish. Cool until room temperature.
