What a day
Had a great day today. Mom came down around 1015am this morning. She stayed at the house with M while I brought O to her ENT doctor for a check-up. She is doing great - ears look wonderful! ::happy dance::
We went shopping at Michaels, Pier One and Atlantic Books and headed back home for lunch. After that, Mom and the girls went in the pool. Too chilly for me but they had a great time. It was so nice to see Mom moving around and having so much more energy. Let's hope that the cancer monster is gone for good. I got some laundry washed and hung out on the line while they were swimming. They got out around 330pm. I got the girls changed and they went right back outside to play with Mom! LOL! I watched Trading Spaces (rerun from Saturday night - Frank and Hilde) and crocheted for a little while. Mom decided that she wanted to come to tae kwon do with us so she could watch M. She had never seen her in "action". Mom was impressed!
We got back home around 7pm. P was home. My father in law brought him home because P brought the Saturn in for servicing. Major stuff to be done. P usually does the basic stuff - oil, fluids, belts but the car needed a bit more than that. Hopefully, it won't be too much money!
Mom left around 715pm - I knew she was tired but she assured me that she had a wonderful time. M will be spending next weekend with her - Friday-Sunday. Yay!
The kids ate dinner around 745pm so they were up until 11pm! We watched some show on Animal Planet about animals in the future - 100 million years in the future - and how the world could change and animal evolve. It was pretty freakin' cool.
So - everyone is asleep and I am finally getting a chance to blog. I am going to try to read some more of ya'll. ::smooches:: G'night!

Wow, I am jealous...I would be afraid to take my 10 and 9 y.o. sons into Pier 1 with me....

Glad to see you all doing well. Sometimes I go to Cherry Hill Mall and "people watch" while I crochet teddy bears!

So glad that Olivia's ear are better.
It must be wonderful watching your Mum enjoy being with the girls, especially because of what she has been through. I'm so happy for you.
