Still scrapin'
The girls are in bed. P and I are tag-team scraping. Of course, he is no help to me when I am scraping the ceiling as he spends his time oogling my boobs when I scrape. Apparently, they "jiggle" a bit. Oh, he was also pretending he was going to use the spray bottle and squirt water up the back of my shirt. Lucky me! My right shoulder is pretty sore. This is very slow and tedious work. The person who came up with the idea of popcorn ceilings should be beaten. Severely. You may be asking "So, why are you scraping the popcorn down? Why not just paint or cut it down it?" Well, the ceiling is pretty nasty looking and it is in my kitchen. We can't really afford to just tear off the ceiling and put up new sheetrock either. So, we are scraping.
I haven't read many blogs today. I hope I can catch up sometime tomorrow.

what about duct taping the scraper to a broom handle so you don't have to go crazy and get all ouchy?

The problem is also trying not to tear the sheetrock underneath the popcorn. In order to get a "good scrape", I have to hold the scraper at an almost 90 degree angle and apply steady pressure.. it's just a huge pain in the ass....
