I read that they caught these three idiots this morning and it made me so angry. I wanted there to be a better reason for these birds to have been killed other than "we were bored and possibly on drugs or alcohol."

Fucking losers. I guarantee none of them does a year's worth of jail time. Ain't justice grand?

See - I think they will get some jail time.. not a lot but some... People are pretty outraged about this. Plus, they will be tried as adults. I hope they get nailed big time.

i think that all of you should take time and think about what you are saying.. i kno matthew Ronneberg on a personal level and he is a good person.. yeah he killed birds. he will be punished for that but there is no need to say that you are goin to kill him.. he is 18, but take one look at him and you will see that he is still a little boy. he is pollite, kind, and an amazing person i love him with all of my heart, if you peopel got a chance to kno him you would feel the same.. i think that you guys are hippocrites for sayin you wanted to kill him. besides do two wrongs make a right? no i dont think so.. use your brains guys and your hearts n you will find some compassion for Matthew and these (men)God Bless Them.

Patti, must be pretty dumb, only one person said the boys should be killed. The birds would have most likely made more of a contribution to peoples lives than these bad men.

i am sorry but when u love someone you look past things.. HE IS GOING TO BE PUNISHED! AND I THINK THAT HE SHOULD! but that dosnt mean that he is a bad person. he did a bad thing a thing that is disgusting and horrible. but i still love him more then anyone could ever know, i got a chance to know him while he stayed in school and i am not making excuses for waht he did but I STILL LOVE HIM and nothing you guys could say about him would change that. because i kno more than you and you said that you feel sorry for me. well i feel sorry for you that you didnt get to kno this WONDERFUL,AMAZING man. but i agree with you on ne part, he will be punished and not even i will say that he should get off. they should make exaples of them so no other kids will try the same stupid shit. thank you ..

Patti, I'm with you on all that. I was real good friends with matt mercuro and I think he's a phenomenal kid. The crap that's goin on does suck. But what the hell, there's baby murderers and human murderers walking around free and your all up in arms over a couple birds. I'm not saying they were right and they will pay but Jesus, look at our world and then why you are saying they should be killed? please
