Home Improvements
Well - construction has begun. Actually - he started last night, scoring and removing sheetrock. Did I ever mention how much we both HATE popcorn ceilings? ICK!
We decided to build a wall - dividing the large space that is my living room and dining area..

Original layout (which I never liked anyway)

Where the wall will be placed - with a 4' space as the doorway

Where the ladder is leaning is where the wall will start. P is at Home Depot now, buying studs to frame out the wall. Whee! My computer desk will be on one side of the new wall (in the living room area) and the hutch will be on the opposite side. I will lose some natural lighting but that gives me the excuse to buy some wall sconces for lighting.
::crazy::
My house is a mess!

Hi Kate - looks like its gonna be crazy for a while at your house! Hope it all goes well.
I also wanted to thank you for your notes - I appreciate your support - and the "hottie" comment made me smile!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Holy crap. I did all that complaining about a bit of painting, but you've got Paul building a whole wall. Very impressive!

Yeah.....what Erin said! I think we should be using him to do our recruiting.
Good luck on the changes to the abode. You definitely have an uphill journey...but, it's worth it!
